Camelot Events is the service provider to London Youth Action for School Groups & Team Building Days. Whether it’s for year group bonding, enrichment days or an end of term treat, we can bespoke a package to your needs.

Camelot Events, home of the Nuts Challenge, was created in 2002 by Wayne Monkman to provide outdoor pursuits that can be fun, testing and of course… muddy! With a goal to get people active and encourage people away from the humdrum of modern lifestyles, the rustic charm offered by the Camelot Events site is what fuels the teams passion and commitment in delivering the best days possible! Operated by staff that have had years of success in the Outdoor Adventure Industry!

School away days can be bespoked to your needs with options to develop Teamwork skills and problem solving.

A typical school event day:

A typical day may start with a safety briefing given by our MD Wayne followed by assembling Teams ready for a morning of Command Task based activities.

Command Tasks can include:

Tug of War, Memory Task, Maths Maze, Astronaut Training, Frisbee Frenzy, Advance to Contact and Water Carry Challenge.

Break for water and/or a snack before heading out to the assault course.

The Assault Course

Each Team will have a Marshal and a member of school staff with them as they make their way around the course. The course can be adapted to suit the weather conditions and the abilities of the participants and can be anywhere between 3km and 5km depending on the level of challenge required.

Obstacles are designed to get participants working as a Team to complete the course.

We are located on Henfold Lane, look for the Henfold Lakes fishing sign, we have parking for up to 4 coaches in the coach park area which is on the left just after turning into Henfold Lakes. Arrangements can be made for luggage/supplies to be collected by vehicle as the main Camelot Events site is a short walk through the campsite.

Note: Cars and minibuses are able to drive through the campsite following the Camelot Events signs and through the Camelot gate to our site. Please note there is a strict 5mph speed limit through the campsite.
